As each piece of snow melts off of the Winter’s remains, a sound grows on the side of the mountain. What started as the melting of a single snowflake has grown into a steady trickle where the deer and ground hogs drink their fill. The stones are smoothed and time passes quickly as the water makes it’s journey from the sky, to the ground of snow, to the stream, to the lake below.
